Today I pay tribute to hip-hop legends The Souls of Mischief. When I caught THE ROOTS this past weekend, Goapele an R&B artist that performed immediately before THE ROOTS did some singing to the beat of ‘93 till Inifnity (circa 1993 by the Souls of Mischief), as a tribute to the Bay Area’s hip-hop scene.
This is one of my favorites.
Hailing from East Oakland California the Souls of Mischief came together in 1993 and produced this masterpiece. They eventually went on to produce under Hieroglyphics. Enjoy this fine beat.
